Description

This kit doesn’t include DE10 nano and SDRAM module. This kit includes:

  • IO board (for VGA and Scart output)
  • 112dB SNR audio DAC (PCM5122)
  • RGB888 video DAC
  • USB hub with 6 ports
  • DB9 joystick port, protected for SNAC
  • Hybrid (acrylic+FR4) case
  • Replacement screws and pillars
  • microUSB bridge to DE10 nano
  • RGB Fan cooler and heatsink
  • SPDIF optical through 3.5mm connector

Note the ON/OFF switch showed in the pictures act as Sync on Green when without the mod on the de10 nano.

Note: Before assembly take account SW[0] switch. For working I2S sound you need to move the SW[0] switch to up. SW[0] is a switch on the de10 nano. See the latest image on the product gallery. Use screwdriver hex 2mm or Torx T8. SDRAM module is optional. Warning: the regular sdram modules fit, but very tight.

    I use this small unit in a arcade cab together with a HDMI to VGA converter + a JPAC. This is the way if you want to enjoy MISTer on a arcade cab and don´t want to use jamma power on your setup 😉

    PRO:
    -Small and compact.
    -Easy to remove SD card.
    -Looks slick.

    Cons:
    No mere cons, but I don’t like the RGB fan. I guess I can change it to another without RGB lightning, but I am lazy 😉
